A Nigerian man frustrated with the shortage of cash across the country, stormed his bank and vowed to sleep there till he is allowed to withdraw cash.
While the whole country is rocked with the sudden scarcity of the new naira in the economy, a video currently trending across social media shows a desperate man who approached the bank premises with his personal belongings.
The event seems like a scene from a Nollywood movie as the bank customer sat down patiently with his gas, cooking pot and sleeping bed, determined to either collect his hard earned cash or he make an abode in the bank.
Speaking in the video, the aggrieved man explained in Pidgin English that he had been visiting the bank daily but was not able to withdraw cash. He lamented the hardship he faces daily just to withdraw the new naira.
“Since how many days, I no fit withdraw. Money dey inside my account. Which kain country be this? I go collect my money today.”

He ordered the bank security to open the door so that he could lay his bed in the banking hall and lie down.
