The Dutch FA has announced the dismissal of its national team manager former international and former Swansea City manager Frank De Boer just 2 days after he led his side to a second-round loss at the Euro 2020 against the Czech Republic.
Frank De Boer has been under a lot of criticism for his tactics and strategies at the Euros 2021, and before the tournament.
He was criticized constantly for playing a 3-5-2 formation instead of the national default formation of the Oranges the 4-3-3.

Frank De Boer’s side had flown through the group stage with 3 wins out of three group stage matches, defeating the Ukraine 3-2, N.Macedonia 3-0, and Austria 2-0.
But he was criticized that the teams in the group stage were not a true test of their strength and the first true test that came in the second round and the team’s frailties became obvious again after finishing the match against Czech republic with a single shot on target and leaving his big man striker Weghorst on the bench.
