Netflix To Push Nigeria’s Creatives Onto World Stage

Streaming entertainment giant, Netflix has said it is ready to work with talented Nigerian creatives in showcasing their products, thereby putting them and their work on the global scene.

NetflixNetflix’s Director of Content Acquisition and Co-Productions in Africa, Ben Amadasun disclosed this commitment during a webinar from Abuja on Wednesday.

Amadasun stated that the Nigerian movie industry has cemented its place as a giant when it comes to movie creation and production, making and creating stars that have become appreciated not just in Nigeria, but in Africa as well.“This year, Netflix joins hands with some of Nigeria’s most talented creatives to bring their unique stories to the world, and with this newfound access to the global stage, their powerful stories will now enjoy a worldwide audience.

“Great stories come from anywhere in the world and Africa is full of incredible stories that will finally get to share with the world.
