NDLEA Arrest Four Suspected Of Vote Buying

Officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), saturday, have arrested some party agents in Ogun State.

 

Operatives on election duty nabbed four men during a random stop and search operation with one of the men seen wearing a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) tag.

The men were reported to have been in possession of multiple credit cards to be used to buy votes at the Ibara Housing Estate area.

An NDLEA statement revealed, “Each card contains 10k and activated to cash with a code.

“The Chairman NDLEA, Brig-Gen Buba Marwa has directed they be handed over to the police after proper documentation.”

The spokesperson Femi Babafemi said the anti-narcotics agency would hand the suspects over to the police for prosecution.
