NCDC Denies Spending 1bn From Donations On SMS

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control NCDC has debunked news and reports which claims the body has spent 1 billion of the money donated to FG on sending text messages to Nigerians.
The NCDC has been sending out messages to Nigerians on the importance of and how to stay safe at this dire period. A graphical publication, however, appeared on social media, claiming that the disease control centre has spent such a whooping amount of money on text messages, just to educate Nigerians.Taking to its official page, the disease control centre noted that the SMSes have been sponsored proudly by Nigerian telco companies such as Airtel
