Popular actor and comedian, Mr Macaroni has taken legal actions against two individuals who claim he was paid 7 million naira to campaign for Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
In November 2022, two twitter user Akanbi with Twitter username @Qdpaper 2 and one Sadiq had alleged that the comedian and activist had been paid 7 million naira just to declare his support for Peter Obi. Akanbi had tweeted;

“Wow wow so Mr Macaroni was giving 7 million from diasporas supporters of Peter Obi just to make an official statement that he will vote Peter Obi. So this hungry Elete ponmo is so cheap and hungry like this, hey God Dem no dey give shishi they say.”
In a post made on his twitter page, Mr Macaroni shared a picture of the law suit, signed by his lawyer against Sadiq. Macaroni explained that he had decided to make example of Sadiq to deter others with the mind of dragging his name.

“Of all the people that attack me daily, I singled out Qudus and one other Sadiq for false accusations. Sadiq has received his letter and a suit will follow soon as we are yet to get a response. The only reason I made this public is because we couldn’t get an address for Qudus.”
