Movie Review: Is School Doing More Harm Than Good? ‘Candy Jar’ Tells It All

When we were young, we were told that if we go to school, read our books and do all the things we need to do everything was going to fall into place. We are pressured into making critical life decisions at the age of 16! we can’t legally vote, we can’t drive, we aren’t old enough to drink but we are expected to be able to choose a path for ourselves at that tender age, It’s all this that the movie ‘Candy Jar’ tackles. The movie is about two young debaters who do everything in their power to get into their dream school only to be met with disappointment. Apart from the movie being a little cliche and predictable, they did a pretty good job in hitting the nail on the head and getting their message across. This movie is rated 8/10.
