While we complain of the White man’s brutality, we also have Africans who made the ways of the white man seem small when it comes to torture and torment. Here are the 10 most wicked black leaders to have existed.
10. Sani Abacha
Sani Abacha ruled Nigeria from 1993 to 1998. He was the proper definition of brutality and was responsible for the imprisonment and exceptions of many of his opponents. This unscrupulous ruler embezzled billions of dollars from the nation’s central bank. His death was met with shouts of joy from Nigerians.most wicked black leaders
He was the second president of the Central African republic. The brutal dictator was narcissistic. He had an insatiable appetite for power and authority.  He was self-crowned emperor of the Central African Republic until he was ousted in 1979. His strong obsession with all things French was a major disadvantage for the country.
8. Mobutu Kuku Ngbendu Wa Za Banga Sese Seko
He was the president of Congo between 1965 and 1997. He killed an innumerable number of people during his tenure as president. He murdered opposition leaders in broad daylight, forcing all television stations to start the evening news with an image of him descending through the clouds from the heavens.
7. Robert Mugabe
Robert Mugabe is the president of Zimbabwe since 1987. Many people call him a murderous despot. Over the years, he has arrested and tortured the opposition. He created and promoted corruption that eventually brought the economy of the country to its knees. His death was met with no sympathy from the citizens of Zimbabwe.most wicked black leaders

6. Muammar Gaddafi
A de facto leader of Libya from 1969-to 2011, some saw him as king of kings of Africa, while other rulers saw his reign as cruel. Muammar Gaddafi was an egoist who ran a police state. His children and immediate relatives had the right to kill without anyone questioning them. He was killed by rebel forces in October 2011.
5. Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir
Omar al-Bashir was the seventh President of Sudan under various titles from 1989 to 2019. During his reign, he committed numerous crimes against humanity, genocide, war crimes, etc. He was declared a war criminal and wanted by the international court.
4. Ahmed Sekou Toure
He ruled Guinea from 1958 to 1984 and he is one of the most wicked black leaders. A corrupt leader who imposed harsh laws on the people. He became infamous for inventing innovative methods of murder.
3. Charles McArthur Ghankay Taylor
Charles  Taylor was the 22nd president of Liberia. He was the main cause of the Liberian civil war which killed many citizens. He encouraged his followers to use rape as a weapon and to cut off the hands of any who opposed him. He committed war crimes, crimes against humanity, and other serious violations of international humanitarian law.
2. Idi Amin Dada Oumee
Idi Amin was the President of Uganda from 1971 to 1979 and is considered one of the most wicked black leaders in history. He is considered one of the most brutal despots in world history.  His 8-year reign of terror in Uganda encompassed widespread killing, torture, dispossession of multitudes and left the country pauperized. He even admitted to eating human flesh.
1. Francisco Macias Nguema
The first president of independent Equatorial Guinea, Francisco made people like Idi Amin and others look like a child’s play when it comes to brutality and violence. He created a group called ”Youth on the match with Macias” which was responsible for numerous atrocities. During his reign, he took power into his hands and passed a law for death penalty to another who threatened the president or his cabinet. With all these he can be said to be one of the most wicked black leaders in history.
