Tell us about yourself, your education, modelling background, how and why did you get started?I’m Tomi Tiffany Ayanleke, a professional model and a multifaceted individual. A Graduate of Babcock university( Bsc Mass communication), Nigeria. I started modeling because it is my passion and my figure and attitude gives me away as a model. To give a brief on my model story, it will be taken back 5years ago when I had my first collaboration with enemaya and was publicized on bellanaija. Coupled with this, I participated in a modeling competition in Nigerias Next Super Model 2013 and was 2nd runner up. It was crazy at that point for me because I just got into my second year in school and I had to balance being in Uni and modeling. I found my way around it , finished school and currently still modeling with a 9-5 job and a brand at the side.
How do you prepare for a modelling shoot?
I prepare for shoots a day or two before. Hair properly washed and neat. Skin moisturized and clear.
How did you feel when you did your first ever fashion show or photo shoot?
I was really excited. It felt a bit awkward as it was my first shoot but got the flow after a few minutes into the shoot.

Describe the atmosphere when you’re on a shoot. Do you play music? Do you talk with the photographer between shots?
The atmosphere while shooting is usually great. Good music playing on set and networking going on between the creatives.

Out of all your professional photos, which is your favourite and why?
Amongst all professional shoots I’ve had and still counting in my career , my favorite would have to be the BET Int’l campaign shoot in The UK. It helped me see life differently and appreciate what is, to forget about what was and be focused on who I am and embrace it.

Who are some of your favourite models, fashion photographers and designers, and why?
Some of me favourite top models, designers and photographers are Cara delevingne, jourdan Dunnand Kendal Jenner.  Photographers – Ben Hasset, Karl Lagerfeld and Latin Ogunbanwo. Designers- Karl Lagerfeld, Alexander Wang, Olivier Rousteing and Rei Kawakubo.

What do you think is the hardest part about being in the beauty and fashion industry?
The hardest part of being the fashion industry is having to experience the “No’s or Sorry next time” at castings or walk-ins.

What is your daily nutrition and beauty regime? What beauty tips do you swear by?
My beauty tip will always be allow your skin breath as much as possible. Natural is beauty…

Do you have any advice as to how to ensure good pictures every time?
An advice to achieve good pictures as a model is to be comfortable in your skin as well as taking care of it, sleep well, eat healthy and practice poses regularly before shoots.

What advice do you have for other aspiring models?
I advice aspiring models to keep going for what they want no matter how hard it seems, having God, confidence and courtesy in mind because nothing good comes easy.
