I Have Failed As A Minister Of Education – Adamu Adamu

Mallam Adamu Adamu says he failed as the Minister of Education as he couldn’t solve several challenges he ought to have solved despite being the longest-serving minister of education.adamu adamu


The Sun Online reports that the minister said this at the 66th National Council on Education (NCE) in Abuja on Thursday, November 3.

According to the report, the minister highlighted that, from out-of-school children, which has increased during his time in office, to challenges of ASUU and other challenges bedevilling the tertiary education system, he could not provide the needed solution.

He also accused the state’s ministries of education of adding to the factors that aided his failure as a  Minister. He is one of the few ministers who have come out to acknowledge that his tenure has not been the best so far. The ASUU strike that was just called off lasted for a long time, and Nigerians were joyful when it was called off.
