MFM Founder, Daniel Olukoya, Drags Sowore And Sahara Reporters To Court For Libel

The founder of Mountain Of Fire Miracle Minitries Daniel Olukoya has charged Yele Sowore and Sahara Reporters to court and sued them for #10billion.

According to the punch, Daniel Olukoya is suing the online news platform for continually publishing untrue and malicious reports about him and his ministry since 2013 on his platform.
The Libel suit was filed at the Federal High Court in Akwa Ibom and it reveals that Olukoya had earlier given Sowore and Sahara reporters a 7-day ultimatum to take down all the untrue articles, but he vehemently ignored. The failure to retract the articles he said, warranted the libel suit.
Asides the ₦10 billion damages, the suit also requests that the news platform “pull down and erase each of the offending stories from the Internet forthwith” and “tender a written apology and retraction, published prominently in their online news report and in at least three nationally circulating newspapers and two international magazines, including “Time International.”
