Messi Made Me Feel Uncomfortable At Camp Nou – Ex-Barca Coach Setien

Quique Setien

Following successful spells in charge of Las Palmas and Real Betis, Setien was appointed Barcelona manager in January 2020.
His time in charge turned out to be a disaster. He will forever be remembered as the boss who led the Blaugrana to a 8-2 defeat in the Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich in August 2020.
The Spanish manager was sacked three days later and, according to ESPN, attempted to sue Barca after the club failed to meet the terms of his contract.
There are specific situations that are uncomfortable. I prefer not to talk about Messi. At the beginning I had a very good relationship, it’s true that then it deteriorated a bit because of the results and the situation at the club, which wasn’t the best. I don’t think he was completely happy. That’s what led to his departure from Barcelona.
