With the tussle and fracas between six time Ballon D’Or winner, Lionel Messi and his club side, it seems the Argentine man is looking and willing to switch sides.
Reports have it that Messi has been displeased at the general administration of the club, especially since the termination of the contract of former boss, Ernesto Valverde.

Consequently, the football star has sent a strong message showing his anger in reply to Barcelona’s director of sports Eric Abidal, who said that some of the players were not performing as expected under Valverde.
He said “I honestly don’t like to do this kind of thing but I think everyone has to be responsible for their job and take responsibility for their decisions.”

Valverde was sacked on the 14 of January and was replaced by Quique Setien.

However, while the skirmish continues, reports allege that the striker is willing to leave the Catalans and ply his trade elsewhere.
Barcelona president has said the club will try to pacify and offer the Argentine another contract but it is doubtful if he will stay.
