The streets of Twitter and Nigeria is buzzing with reports of massacre in Abuja as the Nigerian Police reportedly opened fire on protesters in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Social media users have brought reports on the microblogging site of how the Police used tear gas and sprayed bullets as Shi’ites again stormed the streets of Abuja, demanding the release of their leader El-Zakzaky and his wife Zeenah.
Recall that President Buhari had declared the Shi’ites as a terrorist group and had ordered the Police to interrupt their activities. This interruption led to the death of a corp member Precious Owolabi, serving with Channels TV back in 2019 and many more people, including police officials.
