Meet The New Deputy Governors Of The Central Bank Of Nigeria

The top legislative arm of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, The Nigerian Senate, approved the appointment of Mr. Edward Lametek Adamu and Mrs. Aishah Ahmad as Deputy Governors of Central Bank of Nigeria today.
The new deputy governors are to provide the much needed support to the office of the governor of the Central Bank. They are:
1. Mr. Edward Adamu: born on the 22nd of June 1959 in Gombe State, Mr Edward studied quantity survey in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
He is a member of many renowned professional bodies like: The Association of Project Managers, United Kingdom, Project Management Institute, USA, The Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, International Knowledge Management Institute, USA and The International Society for Performance Improvement, USA. He has been a staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria since his employment in June 1992.
2. Mrs. Aishah Ahmad: born on the 26th of October 1977, Mrs Aishah is an indigene of Niger State. She is a graduate of Accounting from the University of Abuja.
She holds a Master of Science degree in Finance & Management from the Cranfield School of Management in the United Kingdom. She also has Master of Business Administration, MBA in finance from the University of Lagos.
