 Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a certain Dorcas Adilewa who faked her kidnap to defraud her father, Taiwo Adilewa. Dorcas’s friend, Ifeoluwa Ogunbanjo, was also arrested for her alleged involvement in the fraud. According to reports, the 19-year-old Dorcas was said to have conspired with Ogunbanjo to execute the scheme and allegedly demanded N600,000 ransom.Her father Taiwo, upon being contacted informed the police about the kidnap of his daughter, who uncovered the deception. Photo Credit: Getty
