MCM: Tu Baba Has Created A Space For Himself In The Heart Of Every Nigerian

His name does not require much introduction to any Nigerian below the age of 50. His voice is sonorous enough to find the key of happiness to our minds. His appearance is attractive enough to melt the heart of every Nigerian girl. With just 17-years in the music industry, Tu Baba has establish his name in the heart and mind of at least every young Nigerian.
Innocent “Tu Baba” Idibia was born on the 18th of September 1975 in Jos, Plateau state. He is from the Idoma ethnic group in the southern part of Benue State. He attended Mount Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School in Makurdi, Benue State. Before he enrolled at the Institute of Management & Technology, Enugu (IMT), where he did his preliminary National Diploma course in business administration and management. He met Black Face here and with time, they laid the foundations for the now defunct “Plantashun Boyz band”. He eventually dropped out of IMT to pursue his music career.
With the aim of capturing the demarcation between his personal life and his business life, he adopted the stage name 2Face in 1996. Her later moved to Lagos state with the aim of moving forward in his music career, and eventually, he met Faze. The duo linked up with Blackface to form Plantashun Boyz.
After the band fell out, Tu Baba decided to be a solo artiste and with time, he struck gold when he released African queen in 2004. He went on to release a good number of hit songs, which earned him national and international recognition.
