MCM: John Legend Attains “EGOT” Status At The Age Of 39

American Singer, Songwriter, and Actor John Legend is the youngest person to reach EGOT status at the age of 39, after the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Sunday.   Legend alongside Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice has joined the list of Successful Hollywood stars to have achieved this feat by winning an Emmy< Grammys and Tony Awards. He won the Emmy awards for outstanding variety special (Live) for “Jesus Christ Superstar Live In concert”.   
The Singer played the role of Jesus Christ in the live television program that aired on NBC Live.
Legend is also the first African-American man to reach this milestone in his career even at a young age. The elated father of two took to Instagram to show his excitement and to thank everyone, Legend has won 10 Grammys, he also won a Tony award in 2017, and an Oscar awards in 2016.
