Mauricio Pochettino ‘Set To Take Over’ At Manchester United In The Summer

He is even said to have held talks with Manchester United chiefs on the players he would sign for the Red Devils – The 46-year-old is currently the manager of Premier League side Tottenham Current Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly agreed deal with Manchester United chiefs to become the club’s next gaffer at the end of the ongoing season. After sacking ex boss Jose Mourinho due to poor performances, United replaced him with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who will be in charge at Old Trafford till the end of the season. But there have been reports that the Red Devils are planning to hire a permanent coach at the end of the season with Zinedine Zidane and Pochettino linked with the job. Last year May, Argentine football coach Mauricio Pochettino signed a new five-year deal with Tottenham which is expected to expire in 2023. And according to Caught Offside, Pochettino has made the decision to walk away from Tottenham for a move to Old Trafford. The report added that United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has even held talks with Pochettino over who he wants to sign in the summer. Manchester United ae currently occupying sixth position on the Premier League standings with 38 points after 21 games played this term.
