Lagos stood still on Saturday as the ruling APC held a presidential campaign rally for the party’s candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in the Surulere area of the state.
APC Governors, Ministers and other dignitaries were in attendance.
The rally, according to Director-General of the State Campaign Council, Senator Ganiyu Solomon, was a homecoming for the former Lagos Governor and the national leader of the party.
The colorful rally occupied major streets of the stadium. It brought together APC leaders, members, support groups in Lagos and contingents from neighbouring South west states.

Supporters held brooms, APC’s logo and their placards indicating their respective wards across the state.
Banners also bore the face of the APC governorship candidate in Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his running mate, Obafemi Hamzat.

Popular Fuji star, Wasiu Ayinde (K1 de Ultimate) and other hip-hop musicians entertained the crowd with live performances.
