Maryam Sanda, who allegedly killed her husband, Bilyamin Bello, over infidelity in 2017, has welcomed a bouncing baby boy. Report has it that a low-key naming ceremony will be held tomorrow August 14, 2018, and this suggests that the baby was born last-week Tuesday.

Following Bello’s murder, criminal charges of culpable homicide was filed against Sanda by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, saying the alleged killing was premeditated and, as such, should be punished by death. At the time of the murder, the suspect was a nursing mother of a six-month-old baby girl which was a basis for which her lawyer, Joseph Daudu, initially tried to secure bail for her. However, Yusuf Halilu, judge of a High Court in Jabi, Abuja, disagreed.

The accused was remanded at Suleja Prisons, but her brother and her mother, who were accused of tampering with evidence, were released on bail. Maryam was eventually granted bail in March 2018 after the court received medical reports that confirmed her pregnancy.
