“There Were Many Passes Which We Could Not Use” – Argentina Coach Give Reasons For Super Eagles Defeat

The head coach of Argentina senior team, Jorge Sampaoli has given excuses for his team’s horrendous defeat to the Super Eagles on Tuesday.
The former Sevilla coach watched his star-studded team throw a two-goal lead away as the Nigerian team launched a streak of swift and deadly attacks that eventually humiliated the Argentine team.
In his post match conference, Sampaoli blamed the defeat on his teams wasteful nature in the first half.
He said “I do not think it’s hard to explain. We played in the first half well, in the second we tried to play more in attack. It happens with all the teams. Nigeria had many good moments, but we defended well, and I think that we just did not realize our moments. There were many passes which we couldn’t use.”
