A building has collapsed in the Beirut road area of the Kano State metropolis. Some persons were feared trapped underneath the rubble.
Many were seen at the scene trying to carry out a rescue operation. The numbers of casualties are yet to be made known to the public.

Recently, there was a fire incident at Eagle FM radio in Logokoma, Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, Monday afternoon.
The raging fire was seen burning wildly on the roof of the building. It was gathered that no record of casualty had been noted.
The Federal Fire Service Spokesperson, Paul Abraham, also confirmed the incident to newsmen. He added that personnel had been deployed to the scene.

Efforts were being put to quench the fire.
Although, emergency response is ongoing and an investigation has been launched to ascertain the cause of the explosion.
