8 Policemen, Others Feared Dead As Bandits Attack Isanlu, Kogi State

Many people are feared to be dead while many others are left injured as armed robbers stormed Isanlu in Kogi State, gunning down about 8 policemen.
According to reports, the robbers, who were about 18, were said to have sieged the community in Yagba Est LGA for over 2 hours.

They reportedly marched to Isanlu Divisional Police Station opposite the LGA Headquarters, where they killed the Policemen and civilians alike, including the DPO.

They then proceeded to the only commercial bank in the town  First Bank and took the lives of more people. It is, however, uncertain if they made away with any money from the bank.Photos Credit: Twitter
