Manny Pacquiao appears to have confirmed a huge welterweight showdown with WBC and IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr this summer.
Eight-weight world champion Pacquiao has been in talks to fight Ryan Garcia and Mikey Garcia this year with negotiations for a long-awaited meeting with Terence Crawford also falling by the wayside.

The 42-year-old boxing legend now seems set to fight the undefeated Spence on 21 August in Las Vegas after sharing a fight poster on his social media channels.
Spence has held the IBF title since his stoppage win over Kell Brook in 2017, adding the WBC strap to his collection after edging out Shawn Porter in a thrilling contest two-and-a-half years ago.
The Texan was involved in a serious car crash shortly after that win but marked his return to the ring with a comfortable victory over Danny Garcia last December.

Pacquiao meanwhile won the WBA title after rolling back the years against Keith Thurman in July 2019 but was officially declared ‘champion in recces’ earlier this year due to inactivity.
Yordenis Ugas replaced him as the WBA’s ‘super’ champion at 147lbs.
