Marcus Rashford could leave Manchester United with Barcelona and PSG among those interested, according to reports in Spain.
The Old Trafford academy graduate burst onto to the scene back in 2016 with a brace on his European debut.
He has remained a key cog at his boyhood club, that was until the current campaign, with the dynamic at United reportedly giving him food for thought.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s return coupled with the rise of Mason Greenwood and the signing of Jadon Sancho has meant a host of players are targeting limited positions.
Edinson Cavani, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial are also options.
Currently, the forward is tied down until 2023 with United having the option of extending that by a further 12 months.
Barcelona have previously made moves to sign Rashford, only to see the player extend his deal at Old Trafford.
Their interest remains, however, with PSG also in the picture.
The Parisians have reportedly already contacted Rashford’s representatives over a switch to the Parc des Princes.
Rashford saw his season hampered by surgery, which was required after the Euro 2020 final.
As a result, he wasn’t available for several weeks but has now played 12 times in all competitions, scoring on three occasions.
The 24-year-old did appear to underline his commitment to the club last month however, stating that it was his “dream” to be playing for United.
“The Man United team is the Man United team, and we all play for the badge and the club, something for me I’ve dreamed of since I was a kid,” he told the club’s website. “And for the players that we sign, they see Manchester United as the great club it is and they want to give everything they can for the badge.
“And those things remain the same whether you’re in good spells or bad spells,” he continued.
“I know at the moment we’re in a difficult patch, but the desire and ambition never changes.”
Ralf Rangnick, the man now in charge having succeeded Ole Gunnar Solskjaer , has said early in his tenure that he will not try and talk round players who want to leave Old Trafford.
Martial is seeking an exit whilst Pogba too is set to depart.
Rangnick said: “If a player does not want to play for a club like Manchester United medium or long-term, I don’t think it makes sense to convince him to change his mind.”Photo Credit: Getty
