He has proven himself as a Standup Comedian, Radio and TV Presenter, Actor, Writer, Director and M.C. over time. Born on August 19, 1971, he hails from Ifon, Ose local government in Ondo State but prefers to be known as a ‘Warri boy’.
He is the host of the A.Y Live shows and numerous comedy skits. His first movie, 30 Days in Atlanta was produced by him and directed by Robert O. Peters. He was made a U.N. Peace Ambassador in 2009 after winning six awards in 2008. He is the C.E.O of Corporate World Entertainment Nigeria.
He also went ahead to produce movies like A trip to Jamaica which Funke Akindele Bello also co-starred in it, followed by 10 days in Suncity with a host of star actors and actresses and now his recent movie which is yet to hit the cinemas Yoruba Demons its super obvious that Ay is a man of many talents. He is married to a Mabel Makun and blessed with a very pretty and intelligent daughter whose Keyboard blew minds away at the last Ay Live show he held in Lagos.
Ayo Makun turned 47 yesterday August 19and a whole lot of comedians and celebrities has taken to Instagram to wish the comic act well and commend his youthful looks at 47, some people think Ay comedian actually knows where the youthful fountain is located because its so rear for a man of his age to look that young in spite of all the hustles and bustles of his career.
