Man Begins Trek From Niger To Abuja To Celebrate Tinubu’s Victory

A man has embarked on a trek from Niger state to the Federal Capital Territory to celebrate president-elect, Bola Tinubu’s victory in 2023.

He commenced the journey on Thursday and bid farewell to his friends who gave him some items for the journey.

Photos that surfaced online showed him receiving a pair of boots and bag from his friends after which he set out to reach Abuja on foot.

He part of his trip on camera and revealed that he met some kids at Paiko who found him trekking for long and decided to engage in a conversation.

Meanwhile, in 2020, man who said he trekked from Gombe to Abuja to celebrate President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory in 2015 has received a car and money

Former Governor of Gombe state, Inuwa Yahaya, presented Dahiru Buba with the gifts.

Buba, a native of Dukku local government area of Gombe state, sought financial assistance to treat limb pains that he allegedly developed after the walk.

According to the staunch Buhari supporter, he only got a certificate for his feat in 2015, In a statement, Ismaila Misilli, media aide to Yahaya, quoted the governor as saying no genuine effort or sacrifice will go unrewarded no matter how long it takes.
