Zamfara School Abduction: Nobel Laureate, Malala Yousafzai Demands Jangebe Girls’ Release

Nobel Peace Laureate, Malala Yousafzai has joined several people across the world and has called on the Federal Government to do all it can to bring back the abducted girls of Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe, Talata Mafara Local Government Area in Zamfara state.

The activist in a post shared via her official Twitter page shared that in her first visit ever to Nigeria she met with the families of the Kidnapped Chibok girls and 7 years later the same thing is still happening in the country. She mentioned that the school should be a safe haven where children get the opportunity to live, learn and grow. Malala Yousafzai appealed to the government to ensure the safe return of the girls back home.

Yesterday it was reported in the news that 300 girls had been kidnapped at the Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe, in Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
