As more celebrities and wealthy individuals continue to donate and conduct online giveaways to help people during this lockdown period, singer, Simi has expressed s very necessary opinion.

Taking to her Twitter page, she said her fears are directed towards the impoverished who in the real sense really need the funds but are nowhere on social media.
She wrote “I ‘m scared for the people in poverty that don’t have access to social media. That only believe what their neighbors told them. These are the most vulnerable. People that will fight in the streets for the little bit of food at the risk of exposure, because to them that is priority.

“And who can blame them? No one. However, in the midst of the empathy we feel, we have to protect them because I genuinely believe they’re not aware or enough to protect themselves. They’ve never been up against anything like this.”
