“Let’s Normalize Divorce” – Bisi Alimi Reacts To Story Of Olori Naomi Silekunola And Ooni Of Ife

LGBTQ activist Bisi Alimi has taken to social media to react to the trending divorce story of Olori Naomi Silekunola and the Ooni of Ife. Earlier today the queen had put out an official statement announcing her separation from the king and also revealed several details about their marriage.

She shared that she is no longer a slave to thoughts of perfection and would no longer be addressed as the wife to the Ooni of Ife or as Queen of Ile-Ife but as the Queen of the people. She further shared that there is a way the majesty is perceived which is different from his true self. Bisi Alimi reacting to the statement and social media frenzy noted that people need to normalize divorce in society and stop being emotional when people break up and part ways.
