Liverpool Risk UEFA Disciplinary Action After Manchester City’s Bus Attack

Liverpool’s astonishing 3-0 victory over Man City might eventually have a bad turnout for them as they are facing the prospect of disciplinary action by European football authorities following an attack on Manchester City’s team bus before their Champions League quarter-final.
Bottles of water were thrown at the bus as it arrived for yesterday’s first leg at Anfield, which the hosts won comfortably.
The top European governing body, UEFA, said it would investigate the setting off of fireworks and the throwing of objects, acts of damage and crowd disturbances. They said: “The charges of acts of damage and crowd disturbances relate to incidents involving the Manchester City FC team bus,” UEFA said in a statement.”
