After shocking the entire football planet on Saturday afternoon by spitting on a 14-year-old girl and her father, former Liverpool and England defender, Jamie Carragher, has publicly apologized for his extremely disgusting action.
The Sky Sport pundit personally phoned the girl and her father on Sunday night to express his apology. He said: “I just want to apologize and I hope you are OK.” The little girl replied by saying: “OK, thanks for apologizing.”
The matter took a worse turn for the former defender, when his current employers, Sky Sport, publicly declared that they will address his shocking action very soon. Sky Sports spokesperson said: “It’s unacceptable behaviour and we will be addressing it with Jamie.” In-case you missed the video, you can watch it below:
