The 2020/2021 Premier League season comes to an end in dramatic fashion as ever. With the top team, two positions in the League already decider a couple of weeks back the two last Champions League position of 3rd and 4th was up for grabs on the final day of the season, and Liverpool and Chelsea were the last two to fill the spot with Leicester City missing out of the top four for the second season in a row. 
Leicester as at last night came into the final day still in 4th place, but yet miss out again on the last day just like last season despite Chelsea’s loss away at Aston Villa.

Leicester was still in the lead against Tottenham with two goals to one up until 75th minutes before Kasper Schmeichel misjudge a cornerkick and mistakenly punched the ball into his own net. The game ended 2-4 in favour of Spurs.

This result dumps Leicester City into 5th position with 66 point, qualifying for the Europa League along with West Ham, while Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea will be the big 4 sides to represent the Premier League in the UCL next season.
