American rapper, singer, and songwriter, Dominique Armani Jones popularly known as Lil Baby has been apprehended and held in Paris for allegedly being in possession of drugs.
Lil Baby, whom Davido featured on his hit song So Crazy from ‘A Better Time’ album had been arrested on Thursday by the Paris Police. He had travelled to Paris, the capital of France for Fashion Week where he was arrested.
According to Le Parisien newspaper, Police sources reported that Lil Baby was in a parked car from which the Police “wafted a smell of cannabis” and had to search him. The media further added that the Police source said NBA star James Harden, who was with the rapper was also stopped and searched but was released.

During the search on the chic Avenue Montaigne in the heart of the capital, about 20 grams of cannabis grass were reportedly discovered in the American rapper’s car and this led to him being taken to a nearby police station and kept in custody. In a video posted on Twitter, Harden, who has played for the Brooklyn Nets since January, can be seen surrounded by several police officers, with one patting him down.
