Let Your Staff Work From Home If They Can – Nigerian Lawyer

Nigerian Lawyer Modupe Moe Odele has some words for business owners on allowing their staff work from home and the effects of resuming office on a daily basis.
In some tweets she put out on the microblogging site, Modepe @mochievous revealed that someone complained about his job being stressful and when asked which part, he pointed going to and from the office as the stress.
This charged Moe to advise employers not to make their staff members come into the office on a daily basis if they can work from home as people get so much exhausted commuting to and from work.
This, according to her, hinders the employee from giving their best to their jobs and it is sad how something which is not part of people’s job get them exhausted about the job.“Yesterday someone told me their job was so stressful. I asked what part of it was stressful and they said “going to and coming back from the office”. Employers in Lagos really shouldn’t make folks come into the office every day – if their work can be done remotely.”

“How can the most stressful part of your job be something that isn’t even part of your job? Folks are exhausted in traffic everyday. There’s no way they can give you their best or even anything close.“, she added.Photos Credit: Twitter/Getty
