After a fantastic 17years career as a professional footballer, Xabi Alonso has decided to take a step forward in his relationship with the game by disclosing his intention of becoming a coach.
The 35 year old Alonso, who started his career with Real Sociedad before moving to Liverpool in 2004 where he won the FA cup and the UEFA champions league revealed on his Instagram page his plan of venturing into the world of management.
Alonso decided to hang his boots after rounding up a successful 2016/2017 season with Bayern Munich having won 114 caps with Spain and lifting the Champions League trophy with Liverpool & Real Madrid.
