Legendary American Writer, Philip Roth Is Dead


Iconic American writer Philip Roth is dead.
Mr. Roth’s agent, Andrew Wylie confirmed that the legendary writer passed away in an hospital in New York on Tuesday night from congestive heart failure.

Philip Roth won almost all possible awards for literature in his illustrious career, including the Pulitzer Prize for his 1997 work American Pastoral. He also won the Man Booker International Prize and the National Book Award for his work, which drew inspiration from the Jewish experience, American ideals and sex in America.
He was honoured with the National Humanities medal by Former President of the United States, Barack Obama in 2010.
