Lebanese Who Put Nigerian Woman For Sale Arrested

The Lebanese who was in the news for putting up a Nigerian woman for sale at 1k USD has been arrested.
This was announced by the Chairperson of Nigerians in Diaspora Abike Dabiri-Erewa in. Abike Dabiri took to the streets of Twitter to give an update on the case. Meanwhile, the Director-General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Person Dame Julie Okah-Donli told told newsmen on Tuesday that the NAPTIP investigators were already working on the case.Lebanese Who Put Out Nigerian Woman For Sale At 1k USD Arrested
Wael Jerro had taken to Facebook to announce that he had a Nigerian woman for sale at $1000. He shared his victim’s international passport bio data page to reveal her name to be Peace Ufuoma, born on May 19, 1988. The passport was issued in Ibadan May 23, 2018, and will expire on May 22, 2023.

Though Jerro seemed to have deactivated his own Facebook account following the backlash he received from Nigerians over the post, he was finally tracked down and arrested. “Breaking news on Trafficked Nigerian girl for sale on Facebook by a Lebanese! The Lebanese Government just announced the arrest of Mr. WAEL JERRO for onward prosecution against criminal sales of a human, a young Nigerian girl“, Abike Dabiri tweeted.
