Nigerian Bar Association members march in Abuja
Nigerian lawyers have marched to the National Assembly complex in Abuja, the nation’s capital in solidarity with the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria JUSUN in order to protest financial autonomy in the sector.
The union had since the 6th of April 2021 deserted the courts in Nigeria, leaving it under lock and key as a result of the non-implementation of financial autonomy for the judiciary as the third arm of government. Toping the list of demands is the issue of financial autonomy to the judiciary.Lawyers March To NASS As Judiciary Workers Begin Protest
