A team of senators led by Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to Plateau State over the murder of over 100 people over the weekend.
The legislative delegation also visited the state for a first-hand assessment of security situation in the state.
Speaking on Wednesday during the visit, Saraki conveyed the sympathy of the National Assembly, “on this unfortunate sad incident that occurred here in the State.”
He said: “This is something that is very sad. This is not only a loss to Plateau, but also a loss to the entire country. Words cannot describe how the affected families are feeling with this kind of loss.”
