Late Nollywood actor, Murphy Afolabi’s daughter paid tribute to her father in an emotional slideshow of their pictures which she shared on social media beckoning on him to wake up
The Nigerian entertainment industry was yet again thrown into mourning with the tragic passing of Murphy Afolabi

In a post by his colleague, Tunde Ola Yusuf on his Instagram page, the Yoruba actor was confirmed dead in the early hours of Sunday, May 14.
Praying for his soul to rest in peace, he bade the actor farewell.
“We lost a strong filmmaker Murphy Afolabi… May God rest your soul”
The Yoruba movie star is said to have fallen in his bathroom and hit his head on the floor leading to his death.
His death is coming a week after he celebrated his 49th birthday on the 5th of May.

Reacting to his death, Murphy Afolabi’s daughter, Faithia Ayomide Afolabi shared a video collage of his photos and some they shared together.
“I still can’t believe it, daddy please wake up”
“This is too much for me daddy.”
The late actor was a father of three—two boys, and one girl: Afolabi Olamilekan, Afolabi Fathia Ayomide Moyosore, and Okikiola Afolabi
