“It’s A Lie”, Lai Mohammed’s Spokesman Debunks Journalist’s Arrest Order

Lai Mohammed’s spokesperson Segun Adeyemi has debunked the reports and allegations that the Minister of Information ordered the arrest of a radio journalist for criticising him.
Recall that KOKO reported how the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights called out the Minister for detaining the journalist’s wife and two of his brothers were arrested and detained for 8, 9 and 2 days respectively while the journalist was been sought."It's A Lie", Lai Mohammed's Spokesman Debunks Journalist's Arrest OrderThe CDHR said detaining the journalist’s relatives because of his refusal to show up was in violation of Section 7 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, which forbids hostage-taking and the arrest of any person in place of another.
Reacting, however, as reported by The PUNCH, Segun Adeyemi, denied the allegation, saying the Minister did not order the arrest of anyone.

He, however, refused to give any further details, saying the media house should direct its inquiries to the appropriate authorities. “The minister did not order the arrest of anyone.
