Lagos Unveils Ultra Speed Ferry Engines To Boost Operations

Lagos State Government has announced the delivery of 6 Units of Yamaha 300Hp Ultra Long Outboard 4-Stroke Engines to boost the efficiency of Ferry Operations in the State.

According to the statement, the engines came in following the lockdown ease so as to make water transportation faster in the state as they will increase boats cruising speed by 40%.
IMPROVED FERRY EFFICIENCY: THE ARRIVAL OF THE ULTRA SPEED BOOSTERS. After the easing of Covid-19 Lockdown; LAGFERRY took deliveries of 6 Units of Yamaha 300Hp Ultra Long Outboard 4-Stroke Engines to boost the efficiency of our Ferry Operations. These invaluable assets will be the first by any commercial ferry operator on the Inland Waterways of the country.

The quality addition will be immediately installed to increase the engine capacities of MV Ejirin, MV Ipakodo and MV Alausa to 600Hp per boat and increase their cruising speed by 40%.
