Lagos Task Force Impounds I63 ‘Okadas’ In Enforcement of 2012 Motorcycle Restriction Law

The Chairman of the Lagos State Task Force SP Olayinka Egbeyemi has reiterated his commitment to the enforcement of the Lagos State Road Traffic Laws of 2012 on motorcycle operators plying restricted routes across the State.

SP Egbeyemi stated this while reacting to an incidence around Mile 2 area where a sister agency aided miscreants and hoodlums to attacked and removed 4 out of 20 impounded motorcycles from the Agency’s truck while conveying them from Apapa to Taskforce crush yard.

According to Egbeyemi “there must be a synergy between all security agencies of government in order to collectively fight the menace of these motorcycle operators on all restricted routes across the State. He confirmed that Nigeria Police Divisions across the state has been collaborating with the Agency by impounding motorcycles operators plying restricted routes around their respective area.
