Coronavirus: 2 More People Die In Lagos

The Lagos State Commissioner for Health Prof Akin Abayomi has taken to his Twitter handle today Thursday, April 23rd, 2020 to announce the death of 2 new patients in Lagos increasing the fatality rate to 18 in the state.

Prof Akin Abayomi spoke about the patients that they did not quickly report to the Lagos State response COVID-19 task force nor did they call the NCDC response unit to, that they were discovered late, creating difficult at helping them and recovering from the deadly virus.

Yesterday the NCDC reported 74 new cases in Lagos, 377 active cases, with 107 discharged and 18 deaths making it a total of 512 cases in Lagos the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria. #covid-19 Lagos STATE Photo Credit: Getty
