Lagos Ranked The 56th Safest City In The World

Africa’s biggest top start-up hub and Nigeria’s Centre of Excellence and economy hub Lagos has been named the 56th safest city in the world. This is coming a few after after the Cable News Network CNN said the city may become unlivable by 2100 due to the floods that rampage the State.

In a research list published by The Economist every two years, Copenhagen in Denmark topped the list of the safest city in the world, knocking off Tokyo which previously held the position.Lagos Ranked The 56th Safest City In The WorldThe report ranked the safety ratings of cities around the world based on five distinct categories: Digital Security, Health Security, Infrastructure Security, Personal Security, and the newly incorporated Environmental Security. Copenhagen outranked Tokyo in four out of the five categories, and the Japanese capital only ranked higher on health security. The Danish capital received an overall safety score of 82.4 and was closely followed by Toronto which was scored 82.2. Despite this, the Danish capital only led the world one of the five categories – Personal Security.
