Coronavirus: Regulations To Be Followed As Lagos Reopens Churches And Mosques

Governor Sanwo-Olu has lifted the ban on religious centres in Lagos State, however, dishing out rules and regulations to be followed.
Recall that KOKO TV reported that the Governor announced that churches and mosques can now open as the lockdown gets eased gradually.LagosRegulations To Be Followed As Lagos Opens Church, Mosques
Mosques, according to the Governor, will begin it activities on Friday 19th June while churches will follow suit on Sunday 21st.
Insisting strongly that the religious centres must strictly adhere to the ruled and regulation, he noted that churches and mosques can only reopen at a maximum of 40% of their members, with not more than 50 worshippers at a time.

These are the rest laid down rule and regulations:
1. Churches in Lagos State reopen on Sunday 21st June, 2020.
2. Children below age 15 not allowed.
3. Religious gatherings are restricted to Fridays and Sundays only.
4. Only people between age 15 – 65 years are to worship on Sunday and only 40% of the church members can attend service.
5. Service should only be for one hour per Sunday.
6. No room for vigil or crusade for now.
7. No Children class (church).
8. All churches must provide infrared thermometer, rushing water and alcoholic based sanitizer.
9. All members must wear face mask.
