There is an ongoing debate on who owns state ahead of the governorship poll on Saturday.

While actor Yul Edochie said the metropolitan city indeed belongs to the Yorubas, the youngest son of the iconic Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, advised people to familiarise themselves with history, insisting many know nothing about Lagos.
