Lagos State Arraigns Resident For Harassing LASTMA Official

Lagos State Government has arraigned a resident Ben Emmanuel before a Chief Magistrate Court in Yaba for assaulting a Lagos State Traffic Management Authority LASTMA officer.
A statement signed by the Lagos State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Moyosore Onigbanjo (SAN) said that Ben Emmanuel, in the company of some persons now at large, allegedly assaulted and inflicted injuries on Ismaila Lukman, the LASTMA officer.According to the statement, the incident occurred while the LASTMA officer was carrying out his assigned official duty on Sunday, 8th November 2020 at Jakande Junction, Lekki.

The statement added that the Magistrate Court, however, granted Ben Emmanuel bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties and adjourned the case till November 26, 2020, for the commencement of full trial.
